Aš - Ethnographical and Textile Museum
The first mechanical cotton mills were established in Aš at the beginning of the 19th century. Early in the 20th century the town became the largest centre of textile production in Bohemia, with many architecturally significant factory areas. The majority of them have discontinued operation today. The exhibition in the museum located in the house of the businessman Ungr, where initially stockings were produced, shows the history of textile, especially of the glove industry.
